Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Turkish Operational Research Society (YAD) was founded in 1975 with the aim of promoting, disseminating, and contributing to the implementation of operational research in our country.<br>At the first General Assembly meeting held in June 1975 at the Marmara and Scientific and Industrial Research Institute in Gebze, the following board of directors was elected:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President: Halim Do\u011frus\u00f6z<br>Vice President: \u00dcnver \u00c7\u0131nar<br>General Secretary: Muhittin Oral<br>Treasurer: Kutay Arman<br>Member: Erkut Y\u00fccao\u011flu<br>Member: Ata\u00e7 Soysal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Main Objectives and Activities of YAD<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To establish scientific and professional collaboration among members,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To advance operational research in T\u00fcrkiye through the exchange of information,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To support activities that contribute to the development of operational research and to science in general,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To engage and cooperate with national and foreign institutions operating in related fields, exchanging information and fostering collaboration,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To emphasize the contribution of operational research to national development and to encourage the adoption of operational research methods in public and private sector organizations,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To organize conferences, seminars, and meetings, and to publish periodic and non-periodic
